MEMORY AND TRAUMA

Memory and Trauma

Memory and trauma are inextricably linked, but the energy of the emotional charge can be effectively resolved.

From a quantum physical perspective, everything in this universe, including you and me, is made up of vibrations, or energy. Nothing is really 'fixed', but everything is energy.

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think

than in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.

- Nikola Tesla

Since the beginning of the last century, scientists have been trying to scientifically explain this 'world of quantum physics'. It has been said that if you think you understand quantum physics, you have not understood it. It may also be incomprehensible within our current collective beliefs.

At the quantum level there is therefore no difference between people. In fact, everyone is a moving displacement of energy. Instead of energy you could also speak of information or of consciousness.

Our five (5) senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste) are just instruments of our mind. The brain is therefore nothing more (or less) than the instrument through which we perceive, remember, compare, invent, intellectualize and conceptualize the world. The brain therefore has a clear registration function.

We know from research over the past two decades

that the brain has a high adaptability and is therefore flexible.

The adaptive capacity of the brain is called 'neuroplasticity' and this simply means that the brain is continuously making new brain cells (neurons). This process is called 'neurogenesis' and in addition to this 'synaptogenesis' also takes place, which means that the brain also makes new connections between brain cells. When such a connection is made, the ends of two brain cells come together. The spaces between the ends are called 'synapses'.

Information is transferred from one cell to another in these 'synapses'. This is how neurons communicate with each other. In this way a network of information transfer is created, (fast) roads as it were, which are controlled by a type of traffic control system that does/does not make a connection.

Long-term and therefore toxic stress can destroy connections and/or traffic rule system points, but fortunately, because of this adaptability of the brain, new brain cells and connections can also be created at any time.

This is one of the reasons why PTSD can be effectively solved by using substantiated advanced interventions, because new highways and information transfer have been built after these interventions. The 'old' is no longer in use after that - it has been replaced.

Despite the almost nowadays famous functional MRA (fMRA*) tests, with which researchers like to show that specific areas of the brain are linked to certain specific activities, the brain always functions holistically, in its entirety and never functionally in parts.

(*) Functional MRI is a special MRI technique used in modern brain research in which the activity of the brain is visualized in a three-dimensional image by means of a computer.

This has been practically demonstrated, for example, when people with memory disorders, due to damage to certain parts of the brain, regain their memory after a certain time. As we will see later, memories are not stored in a physical part of the brain, but the brain is the instrument where the registration is perceived and passed on through thoughts.

The events themselves are incorporated into the dynamic information network and transported from there through the body.
